I am currently a PGY-1 resident at the UT-Houston Family and Community Medicine program.

I have a fascination with medicine and an appreciation for all it is and does. Every day I study, I learn something new and intriguing about the body and the numerous ways there are to treat it. I look forward to learning more about the clinical aspects of medicine in my upcoming rotations and residency.

I am very interested in Family Medicine. I would like to start my own practice with an emphasis on procedures to enhance treatment, diagnosing, and diminishing the time a patient would need to wait before seeing a specialist. My practice would include performing minor dermatological procedures in addition to imaging studies such as x-rays, endoscopies, and colonoscopies. I hope to focus my efforts in a rural or small community setting.

New people, cultures, and languages intrigue me. I enjoy learning about similarities and differences and finding appreciation for both. My wife and I are excited to travel the world with our family and utilize the skills I will learn as a physician to care for those who have minimal or no access at all to healthcare. I have endeavored to learn Spanish in my lifetime and have an intermediate ability of it so far. My goal is to master it before leaving residency and then utilize it in my practice and charitable travels.

I look forward to the knowledge and experience that I will gain while completing residency. I know that these experiences will aid me greatly in my future as a physician.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email. Thank you again for taking the time to look over my resume.
