My family consists of my beautiful wife Jessie, my two boys Matix and Hawken, and a baby girl Lullaby that was just born this September. I LOVE spending time with my family. My wife LOVE'S taking pictures of the family and has made a blog and updates it daily, feel free to check it out and see all the fun the Berg's are having. :)
The Berg Family
On a personal note I am a bike commuter. I started during undergraduate and have continued ever since and get a blast out of the adventures biking offers everyday. I love playing my guitar and ukelele. I have skateboarded since elementary school and always make time to go out to the local skate parks with friends or family. I spent some time in Hawaii and caught the surf bug and am always looking forward to the next time I can catch a set or two. Snowboarding is also in the blood. :) I usually find my way to a mountain or two during the season to snowboard. Some other interests and things I have done are start a 501-c-3 Non-Profit Organization called Guerilla Roots. We organized music/art festivals for different causes, one of my favorite was a bicycle library for an elementary school in Guadalupe, AZ.
I spent 2 years as a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout Master in Tempe, AZ. I love the outdoors and teaching, so this position was a blast for me. We spent lots of time in the mountains and trails of Arizona and the boys taught me a lot about myself as a leader and a teacher. It was an experience I will always cherish.
